Trench Candles

Together with MedicsTogether, Babusya Galyna and Nature Reclaimed Shop, we’ll be meeting at the Woodhatch Community Centre from 12.30-3.30 pm to make as many trench candles as we can, to be sent to Ukraine.

Trench candles, made from tin cans, corrugated cardboard and wax, are being used in Ukraine to provide light and heat, and can even be used to cook. 

Please do join us, even if you can’t stay for long, all help will be much appreciated. Refreshments will be available for the small donation and we will also be treated to a live performance by Ukrainian musician  Eka.

Children are most welcome, we will have a craft table with paper and crayons for them to create pictures and messages of support which will be included in the delivery to Ukraine.
